We’ll look at each area’s location, amenities, and housing costs so you can choose the best area for you.
Welcome To Palm Beach County
Taking you on a tour of the area is a real treat for me, as I grew up in Palm Beach County. It's always so much fun to see how much it's changed and grown. Remember, these are the top three that stood out for me.

Grayton In Greenacres
Let's start with the first community, Grayton by Pulte Homes. Located in Greenacres, Florida, this new construction is located in the central part of Palm Beach County. The city is home to five elementary schools, three middle schools, and a high school. You can check school ratings on Niche.com. The city also has 11 parks.
The Grayton is located in Ranchette Square, which has affordably priced new construction townhomes. Greenacres does have public transportation, but having a vehicle certainly can't hurt. Greenacres is about 20 minutes to downtown West Palm Beach, 45 minutes to downtown Fort Lauderdale, and about one hour from Miami if you travel for work or leisure. Additionally, the Palm Beach International Airport is about 20 minutes away.
Floor Plans And Prices
Now that we have a quick overview of the city, let's look at new construction. The Grayton is a three bedroom, two full bath, and one-half bath two car garage townhome. It has two stories and about 1,637 square feet of heavenly space.
The upstairs has a loft, laundry room, and three bedrooms. Both upstairs bathrooms offer dual sink vanities and closet space. Enjoy quiet family dinners or Margarita night with your girls. You can move your family into this home starting at $421,000.
Compasso By Lennar
Let's move on to the next new construction, located south towards Delray Beach: Compasso by Lennar. Lennar has been a well-known builder in Palm Beach County and surrounding counties for many years. Delray Beach is located in the southeast end of Palm Beach County between Boynton Beach and Boca Raton.
Compasso is located in Banyan Court, which is a community of new construction single-family homes. The price range is $616,000 to $723,000. This community is made up of homes with three to five bedrooms, two-car garages, and either a single-story or a two-story. The square footage ranges from 2,100 square feet to 2,700 square feet.
Delray Beach has a great downtown experience with a variety of dining and shopping. The beach is right off of A1A. Delray is about 25 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport, 30 minutes from downtown West Palm Beach, and 45 minutes from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Delray Beach is a great mix of family activities, activities for adults and young professionals.
Floorplans And Prices
The Compasso, starting at $616,000, is a two-story, three-bedroom, home with two full baths and one half bath. The entrance is a double-height foyer that leads you into an open-concept living room. The first floor has a bonus room that can be a home office or a gym.
The bedrooms are located on the second floor, and you can even entertain your family and guests outside under a covered patio. You can also find this exact same model, a little bit north in Boynton Beach, at Country Trail for about $571,000.
Azalea Of Westlake
Lastly, let's truck up to the northwest part of the county to Loxahatchee. Azaela of Westlake by Minto Communities is new construction located in Loxahatchee, Florida. Loxahatchee is located in the northwest part of Palm Beach County. The neighboring city is Royal Palm Beach, and Loxahatchee is also the home of the famous Lion Country Safari.
Westlake is about 30 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport and 35 minutes from downtown West Palm Beach. Additionally, you will need a vehicle in this area. Westlake offers affordable new builds and family-friendly communities with no CDD fees. This offers homeowners thousands of dollars of savings. If you don't know what a CDD fee is, give me a call and I’ll explain.
Additionally, Westlake also offers a 3% Welcome Heroes discount. What is that? This discount is for currently active teachers, police officers, firefighters, military, healthcare, and government workers.
Floorplans And Prices
Let’s get a better look at Azalea. This two-story, single-family home is a sprawling 2,584 square feet home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one half bath, and a three-car garage. The main bedroom is located on the second floor.
The Azalea model is offered for a price of $516,000. However, the more features and upgrades you add, the more the cost of the new construction.
